0So I just finished playing out the English campaign and got four achievements along the way, none of which were specific to England. Now I feel like going for a specific national achievement so thought ‘hey, why not be the blob?’. So in this play through we’re trying to get 100 European cores before 1500, which is undoubtedly going to be a complete failure…
...yes it was a complete failure, so I'm going to try again, only playing to the year 1500 makes it a much shorter game, at 7 hours rather than 58 hours for a playthrough to 1821...
...I guess I'll have to give up at some point, but gorram it I'm going to get this achievement if it kills me (and for some reason the attempts are getting faster anyway)...
...of course this game relies a lot on luck, and sometimes you just fail miserably and look like an idiot because things didn't fall your way...
