Eve online Anchoring an Astrahus - undock point
TL;DR - how to take advantage of the tactical camera to get the positioning of an upwell in line with the undock direction.
Using the ability to disengage from one's 'look at' pivot and free move the camera to a point inside the station's wireframe in order to line up certain elements you can see that point directly out of the NPC undock tube.
Oh, btw, i cut the video off at the very end because i goofed and decided on an incorrect course of action. the correct course of action is:
1) look at ship
2) selected Bashakru and with the tactical overlay aim the camera away from the line pointing towards the stargate
3) double click in the direction
4) select the station and 'look at'
5) disengage the tactical camera from its pivot and freemove down inside the wireframe in order to wait until the 50km outline meets up with the alignment point of undock
6) at that point you can hit 'stop' and anchor.
anyways, that's what i did to correct the fact i needed to get the upwell "5km" (the radius of undock ring for an upwell is 45km, plus the 5km mentioned in the red letter warning) away from my ship.

========= ADDENDUM
In order to anchor, you will need a character with either the "station manager" role (station services not general role), or a director, or a CEO.
that allows you to 'launch for corporation' and not just 'jettison' the upwell structure.
The upwell's volume is usually 8000m³ and you don't need anything else beyond that for the first 24hrs.
BTW, i don't believe you need any skill in "anchoring" to do so.
