After playing Lost Kingdoms all the way through, I can feel some of the same elements present in this game, so it's nice that the skills transfer over. The combat has the similar blockyness/clunkiness I got used to in that one and it makes it easier to land hits and do dodges overall since everything is a little bit slower and less precise. I like my fighting games to be fighting games and my action rpg games to be more towards the rpg side. I think that was why I didn't enjoy the latest God of War iteration as much as in previous years is I felt like there weren't as many choices for powerups. Anyways, I digress. In Evergrace today I just found the shop, and love that each creature has a little note you can buy that tells you more about it. It really shows the level of detail and care that From put into their games.
