Everslaught Invasion free trial on Meta Quest 3
3good fun, beautiful virtual places, good circa PS3 graphics, good combat with grappling hook and some weight. wish it was more than just wave arena fights, but at least powerups peppered around the places encourage some exploration
I guess this shines as co-op, but I'm not really into that... as is, combat is too relentless in single-player to be that enjoyable. you enter arenas, it's nonstop. Classic games would be about facing enemies as you move forward through the places, no you can pretty much just be on single spot and they come at you, no need for big elaborate level designs. a shame, also a bit true in Dungeons of Eternity, tho at least that paces by rooms...
this was only free trial, but price is now quite low at $9.99. tempting...
