game came out a long time ago, fell under my radar. Now 45% off on sale, finally got it

I was aware of its inspiration in seminal PS2 classic Ico. just so that many called it watered down and little gameplay. I disagree.

it's immensely beautiful, atmospheric and abstract just like Ico and Rime

gameplay consists of guiding the little girl as she finds best route towards the bird and defending her sometimes - much like those two. There are collectibles to find that may have some function... lighter on puzzles, but still some good head scratching

the beauty of the setting more than makes up for whatever gameplay feels missing. More experience than game - also reminds me of Here they Lie in that regard

last but not least, suprised she speaks portuguese! often "help" or "it's dark"
