1920s Winnie the Pooh

In the 1930s it was Pluto, this is the beloved dog of Mickey Mouse.

In the 1940s it was Tweety Bird, The Looney Tunes Yellow Canary.

In the 1950s it was Mr. Peanut, the advertising logo and mascot of Planters Peanuts

In the 1960s, The Original Smiley Face was the Yellow Guy. This icon was created 1963 by Harvey Ball, he was hired by State Mutual Life Assurance Company to create a morale booster for employees.

The Yellow Guy of the 1970s was Woodstock from Peanuts the Charlie Brown series. Woodstock is a bird who is Snoopy's best friend.

The Yellow Guy of the 1980s is easily Pac-Man, In 1980 the Japanese arcade game manufacturer Namco Limited introduced the world to Pac-Man. Pac-Man in Japan was known as Puck Man, but the creator changed his name for American audiences thinking they might take it the wrong way.

The Yellow Guy of the 1990s is a tough choice between Pikachu or Bart Simpson. Both characters have been legends in this decade and beyond. Pikachu is the electric mouse from Pokemon and Bart is Homer Simpsons Son.

The Yellow Guy of the 2000s no question is SpongeBob Squarepants. While the first episode did air on May 1st, 1999. SpongeBob dominated the 2000s and is still very relevant to this day.

The Yellow Guy of the 2010s are the Minions, these are Gru’s little helpers who are always up to something. The original Despicable me Movie was released on July 9th 2010.

The Yellow Guy of the 2020s is still to be debated as this decade is still in progress, but one of the main candidates so far has to be The Yellow Crewmate who defiantly seems Sus.
