Now that iconic Xbox franchises like Minecraft and Banjo-Kazooie are featured as DLC fighters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and with a handful of Xbox Game Studios properties having released on the Nintendo Switch in the last few years, many people assume that this strange Microsoft-Nintendo corporate friendship is brand new. But that couldn't be further from the truth: The first Xbox game on a Nintendo system actually came out in 2003 on the Game Boy Advance! In total Microsoft released six games on the GBA between 2003 and 2005, and in today's video we'll be looking at each of these Xbox Game Boy Advance games, and the fascinating story of how these two console juggernauts came together on Nintendo's handheld!
