With Cuphead's release on Nintendo Switch, Microsoft showed that it's willing to put its Xbox games everywhere, even on a competing console. However, Cuphead isn't the first time that Microsoft has released a game on a Nintendo system - in fact, it's only the latest of nearly 20 Microsoft-Nintendo games! Some of these are even older than Xbox itself, released on the Game Boy Color from 2000 to 2001. In today's video, we'll be stepping back 20 years to look at these three GBC games, the very first Microsoft Games ever released on a Nintendo platform!

The three Microsoft GBC games are Microsoft Entertainment Pack: The Puzzle Collection, Microsoft Pinball Arcade, and Best of Microsoft Entertainment Pack. Each game is a demake/port of an established Windows game released a few years prior, and brought to the Game Boy Color in an early attempt into the gaming market. Altogether, these games house 13 minigames and five pinball tables, packing both a surprising amount of value and a good amount of faithfulness to the PC originals.
