Every Rose Has Its Thorns! Thorn Apart Upgrade! Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville [EP11]
In this video, I take Rose for a spin in some Herbal Assault. Despite playing extensively as Rose, this is the first recording I'm publishing of her, mostly because she's a support character and isn't meant to be super offensive. That being said, this upgrade is great and gives her a huge burst of power, and when fully charged, that's 125hp of damage (or 155hp if target is jinxed), which is insane.
How does Rose compare to GW2? She's a lot less offensive for the most part, yet her support abilities are significantly better. Her damage has been buffed a bit, and the time snare ability got replaced with an upgrade that kinda does that if you feed enough thorns into the enemy. Instead, her first ability is a jinx, similar to Nec'Rose from GW2. This is good because it has good range, it has good homing, and it recharges fast. Arcane enigma no longer attacks enemies or heals allies, but it moves a lot faster and speeds up allies. Finally, goatify gets a significant buff, instead of having a tiny blast radius.
Since all the characters in BFN deal more damage compared to GW2, Rose still feels a bit weak, but this upgrade makes her feel a lot more powerful.
