Everybody Wants to Rule The World 8-bit Remix
380This is an 8-bit (GXSCC) arrangement of one of my favorite songs of all time! It's probably a too full for an authentic 8-bit sound chip but I'm not too concerned with that. I did try using Famitracker to create something but in the 10-ish hours total (spread over 3 evenings) it took to do this, it would have taken me a considerably longer amount of time to do it that way. It's complex enough to make it slow learning on your own, and I'd rather do it in the musically-minded sense than the technically-minded sense. (that means to me, Finale is easier than Famitracker.)
Anyways, this arrangement borrows from a couple different versions I've heard, including a nice live recording (Live! not lip-synced!) with used synth brass, and also the live versions of recent years with include orchestra. Then I added my own 8-bit era ornaments to spice it up. Enjoy!
