10Welcome to Sim UK & this FIRST LOOK Each Rally is So Different - WRC 9 Rally SWEDEN on PC with a Logitech G29 video.
I have had access to WRC 9 for a full day and finally I started to feel in control, but then I went to RALLY SWEDEN and EVERYTHING CHANGED!
WRC 9 releases on the EPIC store on Sep 3, 2020 & I am Grateful to KT Racing for having allowed me early access.
Continuing on from the successes WRC 8 delivered, WRC 9 looks and feels very similar; which is a Good thing IMHO - They haven't tried to change too much. What KT Racing have worked on is immersion by adding a lot of additional realism elements and even CO-OP MP Rally with your friends & you can even have them as your own Co-Driver!
In WRC 9 we can now see other competitors broken down on the side of the track, more undulating and unforgiving surfaces and even more attention is required as tracks push you to the absolute limit & far beyond!

=== WRC 9 DETAILS ====
Co-OP Co-Driver Mode has been added (mind blowing) and we have far more interactive obstacles which behave very realistically.
We have complete car wipeout, crash too much and your event is completely over.
A completely custom league system with Team Creation allows you to challenge your friends in multiple rallies (Brilliant).
WRC 9 is an excellent Rally Simcade, I say Simcade and not Simulator because IMHO it just falls short on a couple of areas which I consider to be essential.
The two areas where I feel WRC 9 needs to improve to claim that Simulation title are in the audio department and the physics department.
The cars do not feel as though they have any weight, and this takes a little while to get used to. Using the weight of the vehicle is essential in Rally because that denotes when and how hard you turn, and that is simply missing here...all the cars feel too light.
The audio is another area where improvements are needed. The audio which exists is good, but there are too many noticable gaps. Gravel, dirt and even snow makes noise against the car, especially when breaking, but that is totally absent in WRC 9.
Audio is something that could be improved in a patch, and the physics could be enhanced in an update. I hope to see both, but I think it unlikely.
If we could just get enhanced audio then this game is 90% of the way there.
