EVGA GTX 1080 SC2/i7 2600K Benchmark [Total War: WARHAMMER]
5Captured with Shadowplay @ 1920x1080 on the same system as the benchmark. I'm impressed there was no major hit to performance I could see, except for some minor stutter which doesn't appear when running the benchmark alone.
I just got myself an EVGA GTX 1080 SC, the first time I've ever gone close to a top end graphics card. So, time for a few benchmarks for anyone wondering if it's worth it. Spoiler. It is.
Rig:
CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k @ 4Ghz
GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 SC2 w/ 11Ghz Memory
Memory: Corsair DDR3 16Gb @ 1866Mhz
Mobo: AsRock Z77 Extreme4
Although I should really upgrade my main system (CPU, Memory, Mobo combo), I don't feel it's necessary as the games I play all run smooth at 60fps 1080p. And I know, a 1080 is probably overkill, but, it hardly breaks a sweat and that may just prolong it's life-time.
