Ash pursues the Evil Eldritch into the time vortex, this time landing in the American Civil War era. To defeat the deadites, Ash must unite the Confederate and Union troops fighting in Dearborn to lead an attack on the deadite fort.

Historicity check- broken record I know- but this one is even more far off than the colonial level. While plenty of Michigan men volunteered to fight in the civil war, no battles ever took place in Michigan itself, and certainly there were no cities in Michigan that were sacked by the rebels. The northernmost major battle in the civil was was actually the Battle of Salineville, where confederates attacked Indiana. They won that fight but were then driven into Ohio and forced to surrender in West Virginia after being cut off from reinforcements.

While Salineville was the furthest north in terms of major battles, there was a confederate raid carried out by 21 Confederate troops all the way up in Vermont. They hoped to loot banks to raise money and divert the attention of the Union forces. The raiders escaped with the money into Canada and were later released by Canadian authorities since Canada was neutral in the conflict. Canada returned the money to the US banks. This would make a good movie...

1:20 Find some hidden supplies to the left of the fort, ammo and health-kits.

2:10 Near the foxhole in front of the fort, find a magic and health upgrade. There is also a sword.

3:00 Blow up the barricade to get into town.

4:11 Save token.

5:34 The church key comes in handy once again. The preacher gives you another objective: bring people to his church for safety. Find the people back where you just got the save token. AS a reward, The preacher gives you the possess slavelord spell.

10:04 Get into the rebel camp by presenting your S*Mart ID badge. Colonel smart won’t agree to join your cause of storming the fort until you bring him a deadite. Luckily there will be one milling around just outside the camp; lead it back to secure The rebels’ allegiance. Next we must convince the unionists to join up.

17:40 Head to the same area with the barns on the outskirts, the same place you found the billy can back in the colonial level. Here you meet the captain of the union troops- yet another ancestor of Ash’s. He agrees to join the attack and directs you to the blacksmith’s house to pick up a gift.

22:08 Defeat a few deadites at William’s old place and pick up a save token and a Gatling gun- from the scrap metal you gave him at the end of last level. Head back to the union camp and talk to the captain again. He sends you off to close the vortexes in town, which means finding silver.

30:32 Find a bunch of silver bars perfect for closing portals in the cemetery.

37:00 after closing the vortexes (easy to find around town, just look up and follow paths) return to let rally the union troops.

39:30 Attack the fort with your united army.

41:05 Grab the silver in the corner to close the vortex, inside the fort courtyard.

43:16 Somewhere along the line a deadite should drop another silver bar for the vortex blocking the doorway. Before you go there though, head up to the second floor to grab a bunch of ammo.

44:46 Boss fight- Eldritch. Lure Eldritch close to the barrels of gunpowder, which you can trigger with your pistol. If the barrel goes off close to him, Eldritch will be knocked on his back, and this is when you should blast at him with the gatling gun. Careful you don’t accidentally shoot a barrel with the Gatling gun that is close to you as you can be damaged this way. After a while Eldritch will get angry and start charging at you. Dodge out of the way so he hits the wall, stunning himself and making himself vulnerable to the Gatling gun again.

Controls- The camera is wonky and there is no way to switch it off invert Y, but clicking the stick will center it behind you.
