This is the evolution of Orbot and Cubot from the Sonic games series. Orbot alone already appeared in 2008 in Sonic Unleashed with the name "SA-55" or "Ergo" with a quite different design and voice. But his first real appearance was in Sonic Colors, where he got new buddy, Cubot. Both were created by Dr. Eggman, but they aren't as evil as their creator. In fact, they sometimes talk friendly with Sonic and his friends.
