"This is Me" is the intro song to The Mindsketch LP. Mindsketch was my first ever solo album. It essentially represents my interpretation of how the world views certain stereotypes as well as my struggle with thoughts and ideas of the way the world worked as I transitioned from high school to college. It's often regarded as the most raw and purely aggressive album I've ever done. And there's probably a reason for that. A lot of people want me to go back to this style. Maybe one day.

Putting your dreams your emotions and gifts up into a mix
Forcing hope only coping with your sins
Focus for a moment on the world as it spins

So you begin to travel through your mind and find ways to live
But it's shot by the props that you get
So you stop and your sense starts to make sense
You yearn for the burning feeling you miss
The hunger that's under your belt knowing its swelled to the point your going to explode
But your joints wont let go until the tension overflows
And your left with utter lyrics mumbled under your breath
And it cuts through your chest and hurts you
Turns you on everyone of your friends
And burns you into the ground by the sound of repent

What matters most is now the least of my favorites
Can't erase the pain so I fake it
And let it take me to a place that I've been before
A struggle through my subtle teenage years
Which revolve around distraught similes and metaphors
And it's like I can't afford to witness that life
Through that strife I'm left empty
No envy to feed the greed within me
No guide to lead me easy through this passage
Because this is life no secrets are released in this atlas
So I'm stacked with my guilty conscious
The only thing that keeps me company and armed with paranoia
Destroying my confidence and storing morbid ideas into my ears
Where it repeats my fears like a loop that snoops on every childhood tear
But why should I care
If I cant beat this meaningful mind state
I might as well join the devil because at least crime pays

It's a movement confusing to the average thought
Music to my ears but stupid to my peers who dropped me on the spot
A problem that can't be solved
A mystery to the gift in me that can't be bargained or bought
So I'm caught
Arguing back and fourth in my thought process
Alarming my relatives and peers cause I'm not stopping for any message that comes near
Why should I understand your pain and give into your solutions
When you can't face my problems and help me get through them
I guess I'm a nuisance to your stupid imagination
But I'm used to it because I grew in an alienation
