This is probably one of the most existential songs I've ever written. This starts off telling a story in reverse about a person who's lived their life fully but doesn't really feel fufilled. Then you travel in reverse and there's this recurring theme of why this person feels unqiuely different in the world. And it isn't until the end that you find out he never really lived a life at all. Spoilers much? Eh, it's been out for over 10 years. You'll live.

I take things that are for granted that I cannot see or hear

Where you can breathe my existence and distance yourself from that which is weird

I wake up, drink coffee, and fasten the day on my belt
This way is hell, I'm living
My kids don't know the difference but I'm uniquely different
And the only way I can see myself is through articles and pictures

I realize my life isn't worth it and I start collecting my furnish
Because the memories are the only things that aren't worthless

But this feeling creeps through my brain waves and seeps in the mainframe

He had another plan and showed her the worth
