This is probably the most aggressive shmup I've ever played. If you're playing for score, it's not an exaggeration to say that you have to kill every boss while basically grinding your face against theirs.

The game uses Ikaruga's polarity system, but applies it quite a bit differently. It's less methodical and more of a manic shooter, with fast move speeds for the player, enemies, and bullets. The game also rewards ramming enemies, since it increases your chain and recharges your bomb, and also allows you to speed kill bosses which is actually where the meat of your score comes from.

Overall the game feels very fresh and unique to me thanks to the fast pace, emphasis on aggression, and varied play style that has everything from traditional dodging to ramming to Psyvariar-esque moments where you're charging directly into bullets in an attempt to recharge your bomb before the previous one wears off. I'd definitely recommend this game.
