If the screen looks squished, it's because I play in widescreen, but my video capture only records standard and I've got nothing to change that. Oh, and don't mind the name. It's just a random word I like to use, and does not have to do with the firm that has a slightly different spelling. ;)

Anyway, this is a race course I created in this here game. Rather than create some stupid course like infinate flatl ground or infinate steep hills (I created them after :P), I decided to create something more serious. This course takes up all 240 spaces that the track editor allows.

In this video, I decided to show the different courses of action at various points during each lap, to show the advantages and disadvantages of each. Pay attention, now.

0:30 and 1:21
Hit this terrain thing. The hill that appears will get you across the following two steep hills with ease.

0:35 and 1:27
While the cooling strip up top seems tempting, hitting it or two lanes below it will ensure you'll land on a hurdle.

0:40 and 1:31
Hit this terrain thing or else you're not gonna get across the dirt very well.

0:41 and 1:36
While there's no real advantage or disadvantage to hitting the boost ramp or the terrain things, hitting the ramp will cause you to crash into the hurdles ahead if you're not a quick to wheelie.

0:49 and 1:43
The obvious choice is to avoid the dirt. But if you boost over the dirt and grab the terrain thing, you'll have a nice ramp to give you a nice speed boost over the steep hill.

0:59 and 1:54
Holy cow, look at all those cooling strips! Surely such a gift is too good to be true...

1:04 and 1:59
Lastly, this terrain thing raises a hill ahead. While there's nothing to skrew you over should you hit it or not, you'll make a speedier course towards the finish line if you avoid it.

Despite the seeming obviousness of these choices, it took me several attempts to get this video right. I keep falling for my own traps. :P

Just for the fun of it, I also include the replay in the video.
