Expeditions: Rome (on Steam) Demo First Look 2 of 2
0Looks like an interesting Squad Based story driven Adventure with Turn Based Combat. It has some nice features; stats, skills, heaps of weapons and loot. Only downsides are that the combat is more tilted towards attack than defense, but then all your attack damage usually ends up less than what you would expect. You can have a strong shield unit or put archers into overwatch which seems like a good strategy since enemies just tend to rush you, although this does slow the pace of battles. Archers feel a bit more overpowered, especially if they utilise the higher ground bonus. Still, I like the presentation and it can be fun, just be prepared to sink a lot of time into it.
