(A) Odisha - Tharkhand Belt:- This state is leading producer of iron ore in Indir. Here high grade haematite ore is found in Badampahar mines in May urbhanj and keonjhar districts.
(B) Durg - Bastar - Chandarpur Belt:- This belt lies in chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. The belt is known for high grade naematite which is found in Bailadia range of hills in Bastar district of Chhatitis garh.
