Join CG Supervisor and owner of CheckpointVFX Andras Kavalecz as he demonstrantes how he expertly brought to life his independent short sci-fi film, Explore & Create. He will discuss how he created several assets in the film, the challenges he faced when working with organic shapes and reflective surfaces, and how Modo enabled a flexible and iterative creation workflow. Andras will also demonstrate how MeshFusion was used to interactively blend the subtraction, addition and intersection of subdivision surfaces while producing an airtight mesh that’s ready for animation.
