Izzet Spells decks remain one of my favourite archetypes in the format, but today we're moving slightly away from the traditional Phoenix build and dedicating the four-drop slot to Crackling Drake instead. A big creature that only grows as the game goes long, this strategy swaps out the quick Phoenix wins for slowly grinding the opponent out of the game then finishing them in one fell swoop with big flying creatures.
