EXPLORING AN ABANDONED TURNPIKE IN BREEZEWOOD PA
Thank you for all the support on the last video of us exploring an abandoned hotel! A lot of people may not care, but it truly means a lot, really. We actually filmed these both in the same day around in the beginning of May! This was probably the most driving I did in one day to urbex, so far. Closing in the late 60s because a BIGGER turnpike was made nearby. The Abandoned PA Turnpike is a 13 mile stretch, consisting of 2 tunnels, and is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC 24/7!!! The old turnpike was 4 lanes wide, but once you reached the tunnels, it was only 2 lanes wide (1 lane each direction). People would be stuck in traffic for miles and miles and would take them forever to reach their destination once they arrived at the tunnels. A few movies were shot here, and not just that, nature is taking over and sadly humans as well.
