Exploring Dran in Remnant 2: The World of Losomn
2In Remnant 2: Worlds Collide, the Dran and Fae worlds have merged, causing chaos and confusion. The once Human-like Dran have become hive-minded and easily provoked into frenzies, while the Awoken Dran, those who have remained unchanged after the merger, are seen as troublemakers and punished for speaking out against the chaos.
Players must navigate through these strange new worlds, overrun by mythical creatures and deadly foes, and work together to stop an evil from destroying reality itself. Whether playing solo or co-op with two other friends, players must rely on their own skills and those of their team to overcome the toughest challenges and stave off humanity's extinction.
The game features a mix of methodical and frenetic ranged/melee combat, with cunning enemies and large scale boss battles. Players can choose specific gear and weapons to optimize for different biomes and battles, while bosses bring high-level players together to overcome the challenge and try to obtain the biggest rewards.
Branching quest lines, augments, crafting, and loot rewards will test the resolve of even the most hardened players in dynamically generated dungeons and areas. With an expanded Archetype system providing unique passive bonuses and stunning powers, players can unlock multiple Archetypes during play, level them up, and equip them together for a variety of play styles.
Remnant 2: Worlds Collide offers challenging, varied, and rewarding playthroughs with multiple stories woven throughout the different worlds, encouraging exploration and multiple revisits. The game is set to release in Summer 2023.
