This standalone map, "gm_industrial_tower," uses assets from the iconic HL2 beta mappack and custom skyboxes based on "temp3.vmf." Journey up this dark industrial tower, equipped with a functional CCTV monitor at the top, inspired by unused HL2 storylines.

This map is based on the Airexchange chapter, a storyline cut from HL2’s final release. The original game’s plot was shortened to three days, removing this chapter where Gordon would infiltrate the industrial facility, eventually diving into a pool of solvents. This map captures that industrial tone and reimagines the bleak aesthetic Valve intended for Airexchange.
