Exploring Sakura Wars (1996) - Now in English!
1,302The original Sakura Wars was released in 1996 and became one of SEGA's cult series but it never saw a release outside Japan and parts of Asia. Was it simply too weird for 90s gamers to appreciate? Perhaps it's more relevant today with the influx and popularity of JRPGs with an emphasis on waifus. This video also acts as a nice introduction to Sakura Wars as a series in general, why it's set in the Taisho era, and why the release of New Sakura Wars (or simply Sakura Wars 2019) is so important.

As I say in the video I'd recommend going to a site that will give you the game (both discs) already patched into English for you.

Using your save data across two discs can be kind of a confusing process but it's pretty simple. Just change the string of numbers after the file name (it should be track 1 for both discs) to the one for that disc.
