Extermination #1 - Antarctic bases are never a good idea

This game has been on the list to show everyone for the longest time, Extermination is a PS2 survival horror game from 2001, a remarkably early entry for the genre on this console and honestly... Even with all the cheese and bad line deliveries, I kinda dig it.
It's about as cliche as it gets, in fact, I think I remember this movie, it's one of my favourite movies of all time... No... Wait... That's John Carpenter's The Thing, and that has an actually terrible PS2 game based on it.
But anyway, let's join Marine Dennis Riley as he and his team go to an Antarctic Base that's gone radio silent for some reason. Could it be aliens? Could it be evil science? Could it just be they want to be left alone? Well, let's suit up and be tough about this one!
