How to capture 1080p 60fps gameplay from your PS4 or Xbox One? Well Avermedia have the answer with a new version of their well known line of game capture devices...
The U3 is USB 3.0 powered, and supports capturing HD raw data to popular video software, and streaming software, like X-Split, with its DirectShow compatibility.

Take note... the PS4's HDMI is *currently* copy-protected, so at the time of publication you can't capture form it's HDMI port directly, but SONY say they'll be patching in support for these kinds of external game capture devices "soon"... And once that's done you WILL be able to record PS4 gameplay with the U3 device.
And YES, I know that KI is rendered at 720p but the OUTPUT to from the HDMI is still 1080p, 60 FPS, so that fact doesn't affect the tests.
