My plan is to try to make a very shooter-oriented first playthrough of EYE to get a sense for the gameplay and overall structure of the game before delving into the more demanding skills and abilities (although it's also relatively easy to have several ongoing playthroughs with different characters). It's a good thing that EYE - unlike some of the games which so clearly inspired it - has some very solid FPS mechanics. Also, the insanity effects are freaking me out...
