Old games and quest items.

Today if you play a game (say Skyrim) and have a quest to get something, maybe some item, the game shows you in map where to go, you go to the place, search the place and get the item. After that game tells you that you found the item and gives you a new point in map where you need to go. It's not easy to miss a quest item in modern games.

It's not the same in these older games... The game tells you absolutely nothing about where to find the important quest items or how to find them. The quest in Eye of The beholder 2, where you need to get the six mirror shields is one of them. The shields are hard to find, if you don't know where they are. Some of them are even hidden behind secret doors! In this case I just forgot to get the one shield from in the end of this fireball infested area! I got distracted.
