Eye Of The beholder 2 - The Mark Of Darkmoon - Part 11

The Temple Of Darkmoon

If we look at the Temple of Darkmoon and it's towers, there has been not much logic in the deigning and building the temple. Seems like the only purpose of the Temple Darkmoon is to agonize random groups of adventurers, who happen to get lost in the surrounding forest. I mean there are some areas in the temple that have purpose, like the part of catacombs that have sleeping quarters for guards, the prison area for prisons and the second level of the temple for priests and other staff. But other than that, It looks like the temple is made for confusing adventurers and trapping them. Like in this episode, you have to go thru the Silver tower full of mazes, traps and puzzles just to get a mark on your hand to open a door. Seems like a bit of unnecessary to go thru for just opening a door. Imagine working in this place...

Ofcourse I know it's jsut a game, and it's supposed to be entertaining, but it's fun to think these things every now and then!
