2One of the more interesting stories that will seemingly be told in the upcoming Ahsoka series is what happened to Ezra Bridger and Grand Admiral Thrawn after the Star Wars Rebels finale, when the Jedi in training and Imperial strategist were sent to an unknown part of the galaxy through wildspace, thanks to the purgill. With the Ahsoka series set around the same time as The Mandalorian, the character would need to be much older when he appears in live action compared to the last time we saw him, which was during the animated Rebels series which is set before the events of the original trilogy. It had been previously been reported that actor Mena Massoud would be playing Ezra, but another actor has seemingly been confirmed to be playing the fan favorite character in live action in the upcoming Star Wars series.
