It's time to start talking about the most important addition of the F-Zero X Expansion Kit: The Course Edit, the ability to create your own tracks. This is by far the most interesting thing to play around with even in the full game I think. Today's episode will only focus on how this utility actually works. The coverage of creating true tracks and also showing them is something I will cover as Extra video's after the project is done, so that is still something you can look forward to. But the tutorial video of this mode is something that does belong in the F-Zero X Expansion Let's Play I feel, so here it is. Let's go see how Nintendo actually created all of the tracks in the game, a way that is also available for owners of the Expansion Kit!

F-Zero X is the famous successor to the original F-Zero formula bringing the high-speed racing franchise to the 3D world for the first time. With 3D environments of the awesome known venues, more complex tracks because of the extra dimension and a colorful expansion to the cast of characters, F-Zero X became a fan favorite amongst high-speed racing fans. If you just want to go fast on futuristic tracks in hyper modern machines which are capable of supersonic speeds, F-Zero X won't disappoint. The game even got an Expansion Kit on the Nintendo 64DD in Japan after reaching great popularity there. Unplayable for the western public for the longest time because of the Japan exclusive release, the F-Zero X Expansion Kit remains a pretty unknown part of F-Zero X's history. But thanks to modern emulation being able to process the Nintendo 64DD, it is now possible to still play the Expansion Kit with just western hardware. Therefore the Expansion Kit will be included in this Let's Play of F-Zero X, being able to show the full glory that F-Zero X deserves. Are we ready to go crazy fast on crazy tracks with crazy machines piloted by crazy characters? 3, 2, 1, GO!!
