A very decent weekend, in which i finally performed well in wet conditions. I was pleased with both practice and qualifying, it was all i could do in those conditions, as i'm still not too confident in these conditions. Especially the intermediate tires are the ones i get a better feeling with.
My race was well, i gambled on starting with primes to have an advantage during the last part of the race. I managed to do well, in combination with fuel saving for the later part of the race. I could have been slightly better, but the R&D did not really seem to kick in that much, as my prime tires went down very fast.
The pass on Hamilton was not intended, but he gave me some space there and i took the gamble. I tried the same with Alonso, but he did not give me that space. The pass on him was a little weird and mostly thankful to Sutil.
I should have done my pitstop perhaps 1 lap earlier, but that is easy to say afterwards.
Next race will be in Japan, i'm going to push to the max for a strong result there. I have 2 fresh engines left, so that will hopefully give me an advantage. Doing 3 races with engine #4 and the last 2 races with engine #5, that will be my strategy.
