F1 2017 - Australian GP Qualifying Review - F1 IS BACK!!!
7It really was great to see that F1 is back again. This year the cars look much better and are much faster. Q1 was completed and it was unexpected to see that both McLaren and Sauber had a car going into Q2. A shock was also provided as Kevin Magnussen and his Haas exited Q1 as Grosjean sailed into the final ten, Q3. Q2 didn't hail much drama apart from both the horrible pink livery Force India cars leave qualifying as both Toro Rosso cars were safe for Q3. Q3 came to a stop when home nation driver Daniel Ricciardo had a twitch which left him in the barrior and out. His team mate Max Verstappen however starts 5th tomorrow. Things looked great for Ferrari ad Raikkonen beat both Red Bull cars and Vettel was on the front row. Mercedes took pole as the so easily have over the hybid era, Hamilton starting up front with Vettel and Bottas settled an all Finnish second row.
