F1 2017 - British GP Qualifying Review - HAMILTON ON FIRE
3A crazy qualifying which had it all mixed weather conditions, unexpected conclusions an so much more. Q1 came to a shocking close with Fernando Alonso in the McLaren-Honda setting fastest lap on dries crossing the line to start that lap milliseconds before the session ended. Q2 saw a close conclusion however again Palmer was far of the pace in 11th in comparison to Hulkenberg in 5th. Q3 was over and despite the controversy of blocking Romain Grosjean, Hamilton took pole at his home event which turned out to be a record breaking pole with Kimi Raikkonen a brilliant second, Vettel 3rd and after Bottas being 4th but with his penalty Verstappen was promoted to that position.
