F1 is back at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin Texas for the 2022 United States Grand Prix. A fantastic circuit that almost always delivers exciting racing and this year it should be no different as the ground effect cars take to one of the most bumpy circuits on the calendar. Max Verstappen last time out was crowned world drivers champion and this weekend he will be looking to add to his number of wins as he is on the hunt for another record this season which is the most wins in a season. Can he win this grand prix? Well if history is to go off of then he has a good shout as he usually goes very well around this circuit and the Red Bull should be very well suited to this track.

Ferrari last time out had a poor weekend, Carlos Sainz race lasted all of half a lap and Charles Leclerc's race was somewhat hampered by the Ferrari absolutely destroying its intermediate tyres leaving the Ferrari man with very little tyre grip left at the end of the race. Texas could be another tricky weekend for the team if tyre wear is higher than usual this weekend.

Mercedes had a bit of a difficult weekend in Suzuka despite going for a higher downforce wet setup they actually did not have a great deal of pace in the car and this left them struggling a little bit vs their rivals and it really did show when Lewis Hamilton could not for the life of him overtake Esteban Ocon in the Alpine. How will Texas go, well I think it will come down to the bumps in the circuit.
