F15 Strike Eagle - 1985 - MS-DOS Game Review
4This game was released for IBM Personal Computers and compatibles running MS-DOS.
This is a pretty impressive fighting flight simulator. I have only been playing it on the "Arcade" difficulty setting, I am sure that there are longer more interesting missions once it's set to the higher difficulty settings. The screen update rate is a bit low, but dispite that the game does give a good feeling of speed and excitement. Controls are responsive, but there is a LOT of them. If you are interested in playing this game, I highly recommend getting the manual and reading the entire thing first.
I used a cycles setting of 400 in dosbox-x. Anything faster and the game plays unrealistically fast.
