F355 Challenge 2 - International Course Edition - Twin Driver- Sega Arcade Naomi Multiboard Hardware
20It's been a while since I've uploaded a video, work and life have both got in the way of devoting some time to make a youtube video.
Anyway, I bought this F355/1 cab as a project from an arcade operator last year. It had no gameboards, no monitors and no power supplies. Because of the missing parts I got it for quite cheap.
So, it was sat in pieces until yesterday. I gave it a quick clean then started working on it. Luckily I had enough spares to get it back up and running,
Soda pop had been spilled in the RH machine causing the I/O to blow up, the LH side had a faulty drive board and all the fans sounded like a cat screaming.
It will stay where it is for a while as I have a couple of other projects I need to complete, once those other projects are completed I'll start working on this again. There are some niggles that need sorting out, the RH machine has a blown sub + the shifter doesn't shift down and the monitors need tweaking.
There are a lot of cosmetic things to do as well, both cabs are very rusty, the art is in poor shape, the plastics need attention and the topper plexi needs replacing as it's cracked.
If I can find a F355/2 twin plexi I'll keep it as a F355/2, otherwise it will stay as a F355/1 machine.
