Verdict - Biggest letdown in gaming history. Fair enough, the fighting was alright despite having only 4 different types of enemies throughout the whole bastard game, but there were no scares, no creepy settings, no evil music, clearly no input from John 'Is it bedtime already, nurse?' Carpenter and Steve 'Who the fuck am I?' Niles. No vanishing ninja's. No almost indestructible fellas with red shit streaming out of them bringing other dead folk back to life making them even harder to kill, no hot chicks who's asses I can stare at close up, no turning round the corner and Alma is right there in your face. No electro-ghosts flying out of drinks machines.The makers blatantly ripped off Resident Evil 5, Blade 2, Bioshock, Portal, Dead Space, Silent Hill, Oblivion, Predator, COD5, among other games / films. The settings were too light (I know I had the gamma turned up, but it made fuck all difference. Outside is outside).

It's hard to believe that my Call of Juarez - Bound in Blood rip-through is also 57 videos long. This felt a lot shorter, probably because CoJ was phenomenal, and I enjoyed every second of it, as it was so much more fun, had loads of variety and a fucking amazing story.

For F.E.4.R, have a look at the school level on F.E.A.R 2 and do more of that please! I want to be trapped underground with only my torch light guiding me, with weird flashes of light and noises scaring the piss out of me, with that claustraphobic feeling of dread, then I turn round and Alma is running at me at 100mph with her arms outstretched, and she's screaming at me like a Spanish demon, and vanishes into thin air just before she gets to me, and I walk away and I can hear her laughing. I don't want to be stood in a fucking GARDEN CENTRE!!!!!!!!!!!
