FA-18C DCS OPENXR DAY RECOVERY TEST THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY
7This video is about my first test of the program OPENXR in the simulator DCS to avoid using steam VR for a performance boost and FPS increase.
I'm using the HP REVERB G2 headset
This test is about the behavior of the program during recovery operations at day time on the carrier CVN-71 SUPERCARRIER flying the FA-18C Hornet.

Download the
OpenComposite Launcher
Download the
DLLs files 32-bit and 64-bit
test them both
the file name is openvr_api.dll
copy and drop one at the time in your bin folder inside DCS world.
start with the 32-bit one.
launch DCS with the DCS.exe inside the bin folder.
if it doesn't work, copy paste the 64-bit file
repeat the process.
I DIDN'T NEED TO DO THE CLEAN INSTALL OR THE REPAIR FOR DCS.
it worked without that step for me.
