I found a youtube video about #facefusion 3.0.0 and watched and thought "there's no way it's that easy". So i installed it using #pinokio and nothing worked. Then i went back, installed #python (using my favourite website #ninite ), installed everything again, and the first thing I tried worked (it wasn't this - it was putting Henry Cavill's face on my head which was terrifying not because it worked but because i really didn't want to see a balding Henry Cavill.

any way - i thought, "ok, i'm going to try and put myself into something to see how it works and how bad it will look". And this is it - not perfect, and i look a bit expressionless, but FaceFusion handles everything - lighting, color-grading, i tried face swapping in black and white photos and it adjusted, i did ones in low-light, or very brightly lit places and every time it handled it.

What i'm posting today is pretty much "straight out of the box" - i believe i added "face_debugger" and "face_enhancer" to the workflow, but there are a ton of bells and whistles and tweaks you can make.

and no, it doesn't do, um, "spicy" content - i tried - the whole thing was blurred out, and it was just a basic, not-very-exciting-at-all n00d image of someone with my face and it was not happening. Once i took out the "offending" subject, it worked perfectly.

So yeah, this was fun, AI is great, but it's also kind of terrifying and with every passing day i believe less and less of what i see online.
