The faction wars in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky have always been quite buggy. Let's put our judgement aside and dive into battle with five different weapon mods at our disposal! All of these weapon mods have been linked down below.

There is no guarantee that every single weapon across these five weapon mods will be shown in this video, though I did aim to include as much as I could here.

At times, it may also seem like some shots were missing their intended targets despite me already aiming at them. These five weapon mods use .ltx files that are derived from the original ones used by the weapons in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. This comes as a result as most in-game weapons (if not, all of them) are scripted to be inaccurate at times to incentivize the player's purchase of weapon upgrades (hence this mechanic's official introduction into this entry in the series). I do hint at how buggy the faction wars can be in this game, though this isn't explored in detail in this video. I've left a detailed explanation with my thoughts on this below.

FACTION WARS (AS EXPLAINED BY A MODDER):

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky has a faction wars mechanic where the player can join one of five factions; Clear Sky (scripted, story only), Stalkers, Bandits, Freedom and Duty. Progression through certain parts of the game and certain conditions may be required to join said factions. My primary tactic usually involves heading for the opposing faction's main base, equipped with a wealth of weapons and ammo, and wiping them out, allowing my allies to gradually work their way over to my location. This usually allows one to win the faction wars when fighting as a member of Duty (against Freedom) or the Stalkers (against the Bandits). However, bugs may occur that result in the player's allies not moving, objectives not being captured, or (when playing as a Freedom member fighting against Duty) enemy squads respawning too quickly or at inopportune times (take the Bandits' respawning over time even after wiping out their base in the Garbage, even when the player is within close proximity of them). Several mods exist that fix such issues, none of which were used in this video.
**I did end up taking over Freedom's base during the making of this video, though the clips of this didn't make it into the final cut (this was a lot easier than taking over Duty's base, though).
***Note at 10:52, the game forces me to holster my weapon as the base is not in "combat mode" anymore. Attacking a base will despawn most traders/important characters in the vicinity. The game may spawn them back in (a bug) sometimes while you're attacking an enemy faction's base, forcing the player to holster their weapon. Allowing a hostile inhabitant of said base to see you can temporarily revert these effects.

Some teething issues may be present in this video (mostly fixed now). This was going to be a longer video in two separate parts, though this video was made with the assumption that the viewer had already experienced the faction wars to some degree.

Also, at the time of this video's publication, all of the weapons showcased in this video have already been featured in past videos of mine, predominantly in my Mod Bytes series (shorter videos with mod demonstrations, see below). The five weapon mods shown in this video come with a series of nerfs (weapon weights, prices, etc.) and buffs (predominantly to the weapons' damage values, range, etc.) as they were ported for the enjoyment of other players rather than for a serious survival experience. For a more realistic feel of the weapons shown in this video, I'd strongly encourage you to check out my Mod Bytes series where I've already ported these weapons to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl modification (also linked below).

***these mods will spoil the game for first-time players.
