A Rude Random With Amnesia (groscailloux69) | GTA Online
An unfriendly random named groscailloux69, also known as joint_custody, was about to open up a discussion about griefing in GTA Online. He then proceeded to shy away from the discussion while pretending to be someone else.
The DMs between mine and groscailloux69's inbox on Rockstar Social Club, both prior to and following his name change to joint_custody, are the exact same. This obviously shows that these are both the same player. If you want to see another example of this, then check out this previous video of mine:

I said the word "baguette" in the text chat as I had no idea whatsoever what was being said (sometimes you'd load into French, Spanish, German or Russian lobbies, etc.), so I just said one of the first things that came to mind for a laugh. Plus, baguettes are lovely. Tiger baguettes, especially so!
Math91700's first message translated; "Next time, don't shoot me without me shooting you, don't do what you wouldn't want done to you". I double-checked this to make sure it wasn't anything rude, it obviously wasn't directed towards me but instead was likely directed at another player who was attacking them, etc. Nothing special or noteworthy here.
In some of my previous videos, I ended up telling some players that I'm from the United Kingdom and some of them even use this as an excuse to badmouth me. Me simply saying the word "baguette" in the game's text chat is nothing compared to the messages I've received over the years from randoms, not like I'd ever slander someone because of where they're from (which is pretty childish, tbh). I can't tell you how many times I've joined a lobby and players have said to me "oi, these crisps are right scrummy, mate".
I wasn't going to upload this encounter, but I ended up getting a reply from groscailloux69 after he changed his name to joint_custody (two weeks after I was in the same public lobby as him). I found it amusing that he was trying so hard to pretend to be someone else, which prompted me to upload this. I've sent him a link to this video from another account since, in the year 2025, there are still people who don't know how DMs work in the Rockstar Social Club work. From here, I just left the link as-is and moved on. I mostly just wanted to prove that his beliefs on how DMs worked on this platform weren't true at all. Changing your name on Rockstar Social Club before messaging someone you've contacted before doesn't hide DMs. They'll still show up.
Please refrain from sending hate to anyone in the video, even if they are acting foolish. If they want to project their negativity onto others, then it's their problem.
Please don't ask me for what mods I use. I will not be posting links or advising viewers about modding in GTA Online. Any requests for such information will not be replied to.
