➤ Why is this so much worse than your sub 2 hours run?
There was an update (0.15) that added a lot of content and made the run much longer. Also this is a completely different category. The rules only allow default map generation presets, a random seed and aggressive aliens.
➤ Why do you start a multiplayer game, although you play alone?
The Game won't pause when you open the research tab in MP
➤ You can turn that off in the settings!
No! This option label is very misleading. Actually, it means the research window won't pop up automatically once research is finished. However, if you open the research window manually later, the game will still pause.
➤ Why aren't you attacked by enemies?
I am. I just choose a map with a lot of trees to delay the first attacks. Enemy waves are starting to come in at about 1 hour in the run.
➤ What software do you use?
I use "OBS Studio" for recording and LiveSplit for the timer.
➤ What mapstring do you use?
None. It's a random map.
➤ Will you attend Games done Quick?
Let's first wait for the release of the game. Then I will consider it.

Some time ist lost due to lag.
➤ Why don't you take the ingame time than?
There are a lot of ways to abuse ingame time meassurements.
