Factorio Base Tour - Imp's 10k SPM Belt Only, Highly Efficient Megabase
575Finally time for another megabase tour! Today we look through Imp's 10k SPM Belt only Megabase! It is built to be highly UPS and performance efficient. There is extensive use of direct insertion and compact builds to help the impact on game performance. They also use quite a bit of belt sharing, like having copper and coal on the same belt to be sent to a combined plastic and circuit to make advanced circuits.
The only trains on the map are massive 32 wagon science trains and some landfill and base building trains. The base is also powered by a massive 1.5 million solar panel field and consumes around 70GW of power!
Overall an extremely impressive and efficient megabase. Thanks for Imp for submitting it to me and apologies for it taking so long to finally review. But I'm so glad I did!
