Factorio For Beginners - 050 - 2-Track Train Lines
Come along with me as I detail (hopefully) every single thing you can do in Factorio with a focus on explaining to beginners.
As we get more trains running - and start to branch out to several ore patches - it's time to upgrade our rail system. A single 2-way rail can only support one train at a time. Two one-way rails, on the other hand, can actaully support far more than 2 trains at a time. Because if everybody's going the same way, you don't have to wait for a train to pass by before you can take your turn.
In this episode, I get a rail line running from the copper outpost to the base, but don't fully set up the loading and unloading stations. I also don't (yet) hook up power to the miners and smelters that will together deliver plates to the station.
