Factorio Space Age: Bonus S-R Latches, Base Load, and Peak Shaving
5This was scheduled for a few days from now but someone needed info on S-R latches so I'm releasing it early before I get to building my nuke plant because helping is more importanter.
A couple of concepts that may be helpful in setting up your factory and power.
I forgot to mention in the video is to keep in mind that all accumulators in the game connected to the same grid regardless of where they are located will all have the same charge level. So if you have a big bank of them up by your solar if you connect a single one down by your steam plant you can use that one accumulator to monitor all of them for turning your plant on and off. That's the reason I have the accumulators connected in two separate systems. The combinators need to have power to work. I wanted the stack of accumulators to power them but I wanted the single accumulator by itself to represent the grid so that it drained faster instead of sitting and waiting for all of them to drain.
