As of August 18, 2025, the ambitious RTS "Crossfire: Legion" from Homeworld developer Blackbird Interactive will be removed from Steam.
A fundamentally decent RTS, but one that most of you will probably never have heard of before, and that's the problem here.
So, as a farewell, I'd like to introduce it to you again.
An RTS that had everything, was heavily influenced by Command & Command Generals and StarCraft 2, and despite three years of support and numerous updates, never managed to build a player base.
