Today we’re going to be looking at the Falcon 4 BMS 4.33 HARM missile in POS mode. In this example we’ll be targeting an SA-2 Guideline of the 1031st Air Defence Battalion, specifically the Fan Song missile guidance system, rather than the missiles themselves. In Falcon 4 BMS 4.33 only the EOM mode can be used reliably, therefore this tutorial uses POS EOM mode. You will learn how to setup the aircrafts systems, including the Threat Warning Auxiliary, or TWA, panel, how to read the Radar Warning Receiver, or RWR, display, and how to hand off a threat to a HARM missile and how the missiles use steerpoints to attack the search radar. You will also learn how to make proper use of the Heads up Display, or HUD, as you make your approach to the target area.
